Palm Springs Spa Massage
Our Story: From Massage Mechanics to Palm Springs Spa Massage
Family owned since 1999 — and our first chapter was written in the men’s resorts of Palm Springs, where this business began as Massage Mechanics.
Where It All Began
Before there was Palm Springs Spa Massage, there was Massage Mechanics — the name under which we first served this valley. Our earliest work took us to the men’s resorts of Palm Springs, in the days when some thirty of them welcomed guests from around the world. We were there then, and in a real sense we have never left: those resorts and their guests are woven into the original vision of this business.
The Resorts, Then and Now
A dozen of those resorts carry the tradition forward in Palm Springs today — INNdulge, Santiago, Descanso, Twin Palms, Desert Paradise, Vista Grande, Triangle Inn, The Hacienda at Warm Sands, El Mirasol Villas and Casa Oliver among them. For many years we have sent our certified, licensed male massage therapists to these resorts, specializing in singles, couples and groups. Couples especially tell us they feel at ease at these resorts in a way mainstream properties rarely match — relaxed, welcomed, and entirely themselves.
One Business, One Welcome
In time, Massage Mechanics and our spa work were integrated into one house: Palm Springs Spa Massage. The welcome widened — to bachelorettes and birthdays, to vacation rentals and quiet evenings at home, to our hosting location in Palm Desert — but the heart never changed. We come to you at no additional charge, or you can come to us by appointment in Palm Desert. And all are welcome here. That was true at the first resort we ever served, and it is true at every door we knock on today.
Built Over Years, Kept by Reputation
Twenty-seven years in business are not an accident. They are the sum of thousands of guests cared for one at a time — reflected in our 4.7 stars across 462 reviews on Yelp, 4.5 stars on Google, and a community of more than 58,000 friends on Instagram. Fly-by-night names come and go in this valley. We are still here, doing the work the way it was given to us to do: with clean hands, honest prices, and all our heart.
