Meet Our Host: La’Rue Abram
La’Rue Abram, owner and licensed esthetician of Skin Bar ~ The Experience, is one of the desert’s most devoted skincare artists — with a background of some 15–20 years in cosmetic surgery and skincare, from clinical supervision to cosmetic consulting.
Her spa is known for customized “skintini” facials, the 24 Karat Gold Facial, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, LED treatments, waxing, lashes and brows, and beautiful body scrubs — all in-spa, all by her exacting standard of excellence.

Full Body Detoxing Scrub With Aromatherapy
A full body detoxing scrub with aromatherapy. This relaxing experience is like having a facial for your entire body. The experience begins with a dry brush used all over your body from your neck to your feet to gently exfoliate skin cells. After getting the body prepared then the body scrub experience is customized to your likings. You can choose from earthy or citrus scents to suit your delights.
Your body will be washed with two different body washes using Swedish massage techniques throughout. Next either polishing sugar scrub or a smoothing salt scrub will be used to exfoliate your skin further while incorporating Swedish massage techniques.
Special attention will be focused on the often neglected, hard to reach back area. A special detox mixture will be applied to the back and activated with steam for a deeper detox. At the end of your 60 minute full body scrub you should be detoxed and relaxed.
90 Minute Option for Full Body Scrub will include an extra 30 minutes focused on customized area and hot stones for the body for extra relaxation.

Seaweed Detox Full Body Wrap
A seaweed detox full body wrap treatment. Get ready to relax and let nature take over while removing toxins and impurities. Scents of aromatherapy will be used throughout to calm the spirit. The full body detox wrap with seaweed starts with a gentle wash for the body, followed by deep exfoliation. Next the removal of the wash and exfoliation with warm towels.
Once the body is cleansed the body will be completely wrapped in a seaweed mixture of warm sheets. Next a thermal blanket is applied for maximum detox benefits. Towards the end of the wrap, a scalp massage is applied with peppermint oil.
90 Minute Option for Seaweed Full Body Detox Wrap will include an extra 30 minutes and a painted on seaweed mixture for extra detoxification prior to the wrap.
